My friend Radan spent 6 months at community and natural healing center “Dulce Azul”, in the Amazonian forests of Colombia, and documented his experience in 6 movies. These short docus show a different way of living and part 1 will cover; eco village living, arts & cooking. Part 2 will follow with sweat lodge healing, sacred plants (ayahuasca), and our deep connection with nature.
In the Sacred Fire
A brief introduction to the lifestyle inside the community and natural healing center “Dulce Azul”, in the Colombian Amazon forest. It captures the simple life and the thoughts of those who chose to rediscover and live the ancient connection we have with the Earth, with Nature and with ourselves.
Art and Music
In a free and natural environment, away from the urban stresses and chaos and from a western educational system, sometimes excessively schematic and conditioning, people find inspiration and time to express themselves through arts and music…..starting from an early age.
The rediscovery of an ancient culinary tradition, almost lost after the European colonization of South America. The lovely Doña Elba and her husband Nelson show us some typical products of the amazonian forest and they remind us of how important it is for our health and for the environment to eat with awareness and to know the origin of our food.
Part 2 will show 3 more short docus on: sweat lodge healing (temazcal), sacred plants (ayahuasca), and our deep connection with nature. Meanwhile, you can follow Radan’s journey on A long journey through the Xylem Road on Facebook.
